So this week we got our travel itineraries!!! We leave on Tuesday, the 24th at 11:13 am, and we arrive at 11:20 am on the 25th... I travel to the future. no big deal. We have a 1 1/2 hour layover in Amsterdam airport! so excited :) Elder Gibson said "It's like knowing your presents before Christmas!" which is really the truth! I want my presents now. haha. I really have a difficult time differing one day from the next, every day is just like the last, and just like the next. crazy, because I know that this next week will go by in a flash. Before I know it, I'll be in Germany! crazy. crazy, crazy, crazy. And yes, I decided that I will only be replying to letters after I've sent one... it keeps me from being distracted during the week.
This sunday (yesterday) we heard from M. Russell Ballard, and Elder Archuletta sang! best devotional ever :) Elder Ballard talked about the real importance of missionaries, and how having REAL people, real missionaries, can never be replaced. He also talked about how much these young men grow during these two years. The benefits don't stop after we get back home :)A germany shirt would be radical but don't worry about it. One of the elders in my zone is from South Jordan, so just a little bit away-close to the Oquirrh mountain temple. So we can hang out when we get back. good stuffs. maybe you could chill with his parents or something and talk about us? i dunno. Elder Joshua Marshall
I pray for all of you every day. Make sure to keep me updated :) So apparrently international missionaries can use skype now when we call home for mothers day and christmas?? haha. how ridiculously awesome is that?! :D
Today I bought new scriptures! and I'm getting them engraved (for free), I'll be picking them up on Thursday. My old ones were falling apart at the binding, so I figured I should be prepared with a second set when they have been through enough. I also got a new German hymn book which I also got engraved (for free). woot woot!
