The Christmas season here in Germany was absolutely awesome. For Christmas Eve, we got together with Familie Sechting and had Raclette! A traditional Swiss dish with lots of wonderful melted cheese :) It was like Fondue but you spread the cheese on top instead of dipping. i dont know how to explain it... that's what Google is for! :P haha. We had an awesome time with them, they even gave each of us a neck-tie! we felt so loved :) They were very anxious to watch the new Batman dvd that they got... so we had to leave :P
Christmas morning we opened our presents and had a wonderful
time looking through everything. I loved it! After that we walked around
the city a little... there weren't very many people around. Then we
went to Schwester Doudou's apartment. She was getting ready to Skype
with her son, Nadir, who is a missionary in England. So her ex-husband,
Nadir's dad, was there, and some other relatives. We had some amazing
Gans (goose), Rotkohl, and Kartoffel Kloesse! mmmmm delicious. you
really will just have to google everything... haha. And then she skyped
with her son, and then we skyped and had an amazing time seeing each
other.
I could explain each of our other appointments too, but just know that we were made Satt (full) and everyone had amazing food and love for us :)
Yes, i have been transferred! well... technically tomorrow. I am going to Kassel! It is one of the southern-most areas in our mission. A lot of members actually thought that it was a part of Frankfurt mission... haha. I have only heard good things about Kassel. From what I know, it is a city of about 200,000 people, it has an awesome statue of Hercules, and there are HILLS! (hills or mountains are things that haven't existed for my entire mission so far) I am super excited to see how everything goes. My new companion is Elder.... Daughtery? or something like that. I will know better next week when I actually know him :) He is going into his 3rd transfer (just like my son, Elder Marshall).
Oh, it would be nice to have a drivers license... haha. I want to have the option of driving if I go to a city with a car... :P https://itd.idaho.gov/dmv/ DriverServices/documents/0020. pdf
my license number is PA113259D... could you help me with that? :) actually... i think i would have to do that... bahhhh dumb. we'll see.
Shoes: I will see if i can find some cheaper shoes... we will keep in touch. i wouldn't be able to receive packages for quite a while... so...
I love you!
