Whaaaaaaa?! 1/8th of the way done?! haha. Momma, why did you tell me this? whatever, I'll still keep being awesome.
Transfer calls came annnnnnd: "Heide Elders: Elder Bossart and Elder Thorkelson!" we will remain here in Heide and keep seeing miracles. It's kinda funny, our entire district stayed the same. 6 more weeks with the same people... which is okay, I like 'em. This last week we really didn't see too much success. It's the time where EVERYONE goes on Urlaub (vacation). It is really slowing down the missionary work.
The red roofs make Germany SO much cooler. That's definitely the deciding factor... hahaha. It's just that every city here was established around 1300 and has so much more history than America. Amazing brickwork is EVERYWHERE, but the newer houses are becoming more and more simple (and most likely chaper as well). It's so cool to see such old buildings! and what is even cooler is talking the the older generation of people! they have some truly amazing stories and they ALL ask where the name "Thorkelson" comes from... and I just say 'es ist Skandinavisch' because I don't know exactly. Sometimes I say 'Norwegish' (because I think I remember hearing someone say Norway....) so could I have the geneology work for the whole Thorkelson side? thank youuu :) oh, and I also asked Gramma for pioneer stories.

So, Teej has an apartment?? what is his address?? :D you have a new house? what is your address?? :D haha. And dad with his long hair? it's awesome. I dig it. I'm excited to see the end result. Set up a good photoshoot and just do a nice closeup of his face and hair that you can make black/white and artsy. super awesome.
I will definitely be calling the Zone Leaders to see if I can get the package earlier. I know that we will be having President's interviews halfway through the transfer so I'll get it at the latest in 3 weeks :) Ich bin sehr Begeistert dafür! (I'm very excited for it) :D super awesome.
There's a talk that I was listening to earlier today that said
something to the effect of 'you can count the seeds in an apple, but can
you count the amount of apples inside of that seed? Each seed has
essentially infinite potential.' I thought that was cool. :) I have a
ton of things that are gospel related in my brain... too much to write
in an email :P haha.
I hear from Elder Michael Airth and Elder Tyler Benson about every week :) super awesome. They are both doing really well! and Elder Jake Potter will be turning 21 this month! haha. and Elder Mitch Potter will be 20 like me! :D where is he again? and is Elder Jared Blanchard in Spain yet?? It just is too crazy. So many missionaries! I can't keep track of them! haha.
I still want to know where Trevor Greene is! We met a lady that is from Thailand and visited the church there! (Trevor went to Thailand for his mission!) and I think it would be so awesome to have his testimony in Thai to give to her! Super cool. Also, I miss his guts. And we meet people that speak Spanish and I want to get Jason Lucas's testimony in Spanish to give to someone! dah. so cool. and maybe one from Teej in Korean :) I just think it would be super awesome.
