So to answer the questions about Herkules and other things...
- I really don't know why it is called Herkules... but there were a lot of other places named after Greek/Roman gods in the park like 'Pluto Falls', so.... I don't know. google can answer that question for you?:)
-It is all under construction right now, they are restoring it. I heard that it was there before WWII and it was one of the few things that remained from the city. (Kassel was leveled during WWII)
-The shirt, I found in a store called NewYorker. I don't know if it was supposed to stand for Kassel, but it is now my Kassel-shirt.
-We communicate with people from other countries in whatever language works for them! :P haha. We spoke German with the girls from Argentina and Brasil. Typicalls people here speak German for either a first or second language. We can speak German so it's really no problem. We understand everything and can explain whatever we need to.
Dad's almost done with school! sweeeet! Is it too early to start getting my records transferred over to wherever he teaches?? haha. Unless he does go to BYU-Idaho... I think beards would be a rather large issue for him... haha. we'll see.
This week we were still building up the missionary work with the members here. I'm pretty sure the missionary work here doesn't explode because of the difference in culture. Those south-american countries love to share whatever they have... It seems like people here can be pretty closed off. If we can get the members here open to teaching, hopefully the work will start to pick up even more.
Haha, I totally sent something to Riley! If he would just email me from his own account, it would be a lot easier to reply to him specifically.... just sayin :P I'll send that again though
I know some missionaries that have Kindles (the book reader from amazon) and they have Preach My Gospel, the standard works, conference talks since forever... and I think it is super awesome. my shoulders sometimes hurt because I have to carry so many books around to District meetings, zone conferences, other lessons. It's pretty awesome.
We are reading the Book of Mormon as a mission and we all just read the beginning of Mosia and it was super awesome! I love König Benjamin! :D It has been actually really good studying the Book of Mormon again. We are all going to be finishing right as general conference starts.
Well thank you all for loving me so much! :) I have needed it!
