Hey there!
Things went really well
this last week. We had a lot of interaction with the ward in our
missionary work. We had lessons with members and investigators.
Sometimes the members go off topic a bit... but usually everything goes
pretty well. It can sometimes leave a sour taste in your mouth when you
have an awesome lesson planned, but the member has something else
planned and ruins everything. It's all a part of the game. :P
This week I had the opportunity to stay in Bielefeld for a
day while Elder Christensen went up to do a leadership training thing in
Hamburg. It was great. I got to see a super nice missionary apartment
and I was able to work with Elder Tanner, who I've known for quite a
while out here. I met him when I was in Spandau-Berlin and he was in
Potsdam. He's been in Bielefeld for a really long time. I've actually
been here in Minden for quite a while. I am now in my 4th transfer in
Minden. Meaning that I will be here for a total of 24 weeks.
I am really not sure what I am going to do when I get back home.
It's strange. Part of me doesn't want to think about it, but a majority
of me looks at the many possibilities and wants to make the best of it
by planning things out. I guess I'll get to that point when the time
comes around.
How is everything giong overall? I really don't have too
much to say. This week has been pretty solid, but there's not too many
exciting things that have happened. I did bring an adapter so that I can
send some photos :) haha. I haven't sent anything for such a long time.
I love you!
Elder Braden Thorkelson
