It's just the good ole me, reporting my week.
It was actually an above average week I would have to say. Most of the
good stuff happened around the weekend again. We had a bunch of solid
lessons with solid people. There are some people who are so eager to
learn more and come closer to Christ and it's sweet! There's also a
lot of people, who just do not care, but let's forget about those
ones. Lol.
This one guy I'm talking about specifically is Rodolfo, and yanno, we
were actually pretty blessed to meet up with him. We went to his
address and he just happened to be there, saying that it was his
parents house and that that day was the last day he'd be there for a
while because he moved. He gave us his new address and we met up
again. This guy is sweet. So excited to be taught and trying so hard
to do what's right. We asked him to come to church and he accepted.
So yesterday we had 4 investigators go to church! It was sweet!
Rodolfo being one of them, and he basically looked like a member and
loved the experience. All of these investigators are progressing so
well and it's awesome. Talking to prepared people is so great. Talking
to weirdos is also great.
Oh, I have a story that will spice up this email. So we got a referral
and we went to visit him. We get there and notice at least 236 flies
in his window. So that's nice. Then we knock and wait. Finally after
about 92 seconds, someone answered the door and yanno what?
Immediately a wall of fowl smelling fowlness, probably from a dog,
punched me in the face. I could've died from that smell. Keeping a
straight face was rough lol. But anyway, people are unique.
This week was also sad because transfers are tomorrow and the two
other elders we love with are leaving. One is going home, so we have
to deal with his trunkiness lol. I dunno what I'm gonna do without
them. I'm really hoping we don't get a couple new chumps, oh man that
would be rough.
| Me and Clawson |
We went to a ward party for the 24th of July at this big Texas natural
spring. There's a huge pool and we had some brisket. (That's a big
deal in Texas) yanno what's super nice about going to pool parties as
a missionary?.. Nothing. Haha, it's like 100° and everyone else is
nice and refreshed. It was a sweet place though. Texas is really
pretty actually, if y'all didn't know. I took my rightful place as the
lifeguard who didn't do anything. Haha. It is fine.

| Good bye Elder Clawson |
Well today, to celebrate friendship, we went to Rudy's. This is Elder
Clawson's favorite place to go. It's literally just Brisket and
creamed corn. But yanno... Texas. Haha. Bye forever Elder Clawson 😔
except when I see him in 2 years.
Hmmm, pues, I don't know what else to write, sorry I'm a bum. Haha
Love y'all. Have a superultramegafantastico week.
