Specifically Jeongup!! ^^ This last week was great- we were able to get four baptismal dates with our cambodians and two others with our bishop's kids' friends. That puts us at 7 baptismal dates for this transfer! Sweet- it's so cool!! we are going out to our Cambodians tonight to teach. I am always so excited. there is one cambodian we didn't think was interested at all, but when Elder Mitton went over there the other day while i was on a split, he had his Book of Mormon above his pillow. Apparently he's been reading every day and thinks it's important- maybe he'll have a baptismal date soon too. we're expecting probably two more dates this
sunday. we're meeting a less active that has two kids who haven't been baptized.
I've heard all about the elections. Koreans are more into it than any American i've ever met. haha. it's all over the news and i randomly hear "Obama" and "McCain" amidst babbles of Korean. haha. everyone was for McCain here.
Weather. haha. well, it was pretty chilly there the other day but today is really warm. kind of humid. haha. The people here tell us that we get a lot of snow here in Jeongup- sometimes 2 meters. no clue how much that is but i think its like idaho last year.

Shawn's letter in Korean was fun! i thought it was a mistake- haha. i haven't ever opened up a Korean email before- i didn't know all of the vocabulary though. neither did my companion so i don't feel bad. HA. i'll have to write it down and look it up. it's all in a really low form too so it's funny to read. it's in a form called pawn-mawl. you usually only use it on kids, people your age or if you dont' respect someone. haha. missionaries aren't allowed to use it. ^^ weird huh. there's three different ways to say everything. that way, middle form and high form.
Oh, i forgot to think of a fact again! ah! well...hmm...Korea doesn't have daylight savings time. and last night at my bishops house for ward council i had a fish soup. the whole fishes were in there...eyes looking up at me. haha. i laughed to myself that i didn't really think twice about it. if i saw this in america i would have freaked! haha.
Well- all is well in zion. lovin the work. i just finished the book of mormon and i am going to read the new testimant now. i started reading the bible dictionary too. it's interesting. you learn so much! haha. sounds boring but it's not- be good, choose the right- the church is true!
Much love- elder thork.

Ah!!!! Fish eyes! I hate fish...kudos to teej for being able to stomach it!
Hey, don't knock fish soup! That's one of our favorite ways to eat trout! Renan's mom taught me and yes, I give all the fish heads and tails to Renan. We made some at the family reunion in Idaho, but something went wrong with one of the ingredients and it was a little bitter. Love reading your letters!
