Hey! I am at the train station right now it's transfer day- luckily I get to stay in my area, ChungJu! I get a new companion. He is a native Korean named Im Sung Jene. I don't know anything about him yet. looks like a great guy. I've the whole way home to talk to him. we'll see how terrible I am at Korean... gosh. Should be fun. A big learning experience right?

I've got plenty of time to write today our train doesn't leave till like 12:45 and it's 10:44 now. I hate travel days sometimes I question whoever is making the plans...I had to travel half way across the mission to go all the way back. hmm...oh well. I understand it is difficult to schedule so everyone always has a companion. but still....I complain. haha.

I CAN NOT believe it is August what the heck? Time...sheesh. I'm getting called the old missionary now... and have to politely tell them I am definitely not old yet and have plenty of time. These young missionaries dont' realize how fast they themselves are going to be "old"...so I'll just sit and wait a few months then laugh. haha.

Wow... all the Thorkelsons are moving to Utah huh? That's amazing how everything can just change like that. That's life for you... especially missionary work. I can't believe how unique our life is, how we go from one thing to the other so quickly. How much change happens in a matter of no time. my companion and i talked about it. how he's been focusing so hard on the investigators we have now. We've been planning, praying, playing...haha. Now he'll probably never see them again, and has a whole bunch of new people's faces to see and learn new people to worry about...ha.

The facebook messages are always fun. elder quinton- tell him the 8th is 성경's birthday. I dont' think I'd be allowed to call to the states...so tell him to tell him happy birthday and I love and miss him.

Everything is going great, our investigators are progressing really well. One girl named Autumn, we met her yesterday and she is praying about baptism. The other girl SueJean is planning on getting baptized in September. Everyone else is putting along. but all is well. The ward is doing amazing too. Everyone is finally falling into the missionary spirit it's good, we're seeing SOME action. My area's ward is renowned for "all talk no action" so we're trying to change that.

Insook comes home tonight! We went to her parents house yesterday for lunch. They are so fun, definitely my grandparents in Korea. He's so fun and she's a riot, they are the best.

Well I am paying on a timed computer in the terminal. I better wrap it up. We gotta go eat probably too, everything is well. I am glad to hear you are all well I love you. The church is true. LOVE missionary work and afraid it will end all too soon. The sisters I came to Korea with go home this transfer.... sisters get jipped. I feel bad. haha. Well read the scriptures, say your prayers and CTR !!

much love

Hey sounds like T'Jae is busy and loving the heat. He is in our prayers I can see that they are being answered. Keep up the good work. DaNiel
