June 25, 2012

Mom, my companion said he brought the SD card adapter... I asked him before we left. He said "yes"... we arrived and he said 'oh crap'. So no photos. I planned on it! I really did... but unfortunately not this week... I do have some that I will be sending home in physical photo form that I printed out in the MTC... old... very old. but still, it's something :)

Things are going so well here in Heide! We have 13 lessons already planned for this week and we will definitely be making out a few more! The lady we have been teaching, Elizabeth, now has a baptismal date on the 29th of July! It is pretty soon, but I know she can do it! I was on an exchange to Rendsburg when my companion invited her to baptism! Everything fun happens when I'm gone... haha. But things really are going so well! We recieved yet another Referral from missionaries in Neumünster and we are now teaching 3 brothers from Afghanistan! super cool. The youngest one is 15 and speaks pretty good german. So in total we are teaching 4 guys from Afghanistan, one guy from Iran, one guy from India, and a Elizabeth from Kenya, Then a bunch of Germans inbetween :)

Yesterday after doing some Tür zu Tür (door to door), we were walking home and saw tiny frogs! so exciting. They were smaller than our fingernails! super fun, I took some photos of the little guys that you may or may not see next week...

We had our last zone conference with President and Sister Pimentel! They gave their final addresses and will be going back to California in the next couple of weeks. So weird to see them go... but I am very excited for President and Sister Kosak to come as well!

Goodness, sounds like things back home are.... exciting? haha. an adventure, that's for sure. In the package I would like.... Zebra F-301 pen refills :) I have the pens in black, red, and blue, and they're almost dead... and pens in Germany are expensive! goodness. One CD that I would really like is 'Jason Mraz - Live and Acoustic' .. it's my favorite of all time. I love it :) just burn a copy of it and send it my way :) And use marshmallows for padding... they're oddly expensive in germany
Shawn's going to Herriman? sweet! Elder Marshall went to Herriman :) He is serving in Frankfurt. He really liked it though. and it doesn't seem too ghetto.
Things really are going super well! I love you!!
